Contract talks are expected to continue today between the Mt. Pleasant School District and its teachers.
The Tribune-Review reports that members of the Mt. Pleasant Area Education Association have been without a contract since August 31st. Talks have been going well between both sides, but they remain at odds over pay, benefits and classroom assignments.
One sign that sides are getting close is that both sides are willing to approve an elementary reorganization plan.
