A special meeting of the Norwin School Board has been planned to interview people interested in filling a vacancy due to a board member’s death.
The Trib reports that the meeting will be held at 6:30 PM on August 28th to interview candidates to fill the seat of Joanna Jordan, who died last week at the age of 75. The term would end the first Monday of December.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and a US Citizen who has lived in the district for at least a year and have no criminal record of felony crimes or misdemeanor involving dishonesty or other “moral turpitude.”
