A portion of North Pennsylvania Avenue in Greensburg will close for a few days next week to allow for repairs to a water line.
The Trib reports that the road behind the courthouse will be closed to vehicle traffic October 10th and 11th to repair an eight-inch water line seven feet below the road that broke on Monday. Temporary repairs have been made, but the line needs to be replaced. Work is scheduled between Oct. 10 and 20. During those 10 days, the pedestrian entrance to the courthouse from North Pennsylvania Avenue will be closed.
Courthouse visitors can use the main entrance on North Main Street or the foot bridge between the courthouse and a separate county building across North Pennsylvania Avenue.
