HEMPFIELD’S HIGH PARK FIREFIGHTERS HAVE TO DECIDE FROM 3 OPTIONS, CHIEF SAYS

Members of the High Park Volunteer Fire Department in Hempfield must now decide whether to disband, merge with another department or go under township management. 

The Trib reports that the station has been under probationary status since 2022 for failure to respond to calls.  An update on the station’s status is expected at the Hempfield Township Supervisors Meeting on February 21^st.  The station has not provided any hint as to which option they favor.
