NORTH HUNTINGDON SHEETZ TO BE TORN DOWN AND REBUILT

The Sheetz on Route 30 in North Huntingdon will be torn down and rebuilt starting next summer.  The Trib reports that the store at the corner of Route 30 and North Thompson lane will close next summer for the construction project, and will reopen the following year.  Once the store is closed, Sheetz employees at that site will be offered other jobs in the company temporarily while the demolition and rebuild is underway.  The new store design will offer customers a restaurant-style experience, including self-service kiosks, with seating inside and outside the store and drive-through service.
