FEDERAL JUDGE EXPECTED TO ANNOUNCE PYREX GLASSWARE PLANT DECISION ON THURSDAY

A federal judge is expected to announce a decision on blocking the closure of the Pyrex glassware plant in Charleroi by the end of the day Thursday.  The Trib reports that the state attorney general is seeking a preliminary injunction to stop Centre Lane Partners, a private equity firm working with Anchor Hocking Holdings, from closing the plant and move operations to Lancaster, Ohio.  The move would eliminate 270 jobs.
