One person was hospitalized after a crash involving a tri-axle truck in Washington Township yesterday afternoon. The Trib reports that the crash happened on Route 66 near Poke Run Church Road in Washington Township. This marks the second time in as many weeks that a crash shut down traffic on that stretch of road, as a tanker truck collided head on with an SUV on October 31st, killing Christopher Negley of Washington Township. Washington Township Volunteer Fire Company was assisted by White Valley, Sardis, Upper Burrell and Saltsburg.
