BAIL DENIED FOR HEMPFIELD MAN CHARGED WITH ARSON

Bail was denied on Wednesday for a Hempfield man charged with arson.  The Trib reports 20-year-old Jacob David Baker is charged with aggravated arson, risking a catastrophe and other crimes for the fire on November 4th on Armbrust Road Witnesses told troopers Baker was staying in the garage along Armbrust Road and admitted to starting the fire near his bed in the garage. Five other people live in the home.  Two of them were able to extinguish the flames before firefighters got there.
