LATROBE WOMAN CHARGED WITH KILLING JOHNSTOWN BAR OWNER

A Latrobe woman is charged with killing a bar owner in Johnstown in 2023.  KDKA-TV reports that Tami Shaffer is accused of killing Lance Ross, the former owner of the Freight Station Bar in February of that year.  Police said that after first telling police that Ross fell, she later told officers that someone beat and killed him.  Police found Ross’ blood on a bedsheet and pillowcase on the couch where Shafer slept along with a bloody sledgehammer.  Shafer is currently in Cambria County Prison.
