REMEMBRANCE FOR NEW KEN POLICE OFFICER THIS WEEKEND

A remembrance service for a New Kensington police officer who died in the line of duty is happening this weekend.  The gathering in memory of Officer Brian Shaw is planned for Sunday at 5 p.m. outside City Hall.  The occasion will mark seven years since Shaw was shot to death while chasing a suspect who ran on foot from a traffic stop.  The public is welcome to attend the service.
