PLUM MOTHER FACES CHARGES

A mother in Plum is facing charges after doctors found that her 13-month-old son suffered a skull fracture.  Borough police arrested the 19-year-old woman on multiple counts including aggravated assault and child endangerment last week.  Authorities say the mom first told officers the child had fallen down multiple times before she admitted that she dropped him on a concrete sidewalk and did not seek any medical attention for him.  Detectives initially went to question the woman after someone who saw the boy in public called Child Line to report that he had injuries to his face and head.
