CALIFORNIA WOMAN ARRESTED FOR WESTMORELAND COUNTY MONEY SCAM

Authorities have arrested a California woman on federal charges in connection with a big-money scam taking place in Westmoreland County.  The victim told federal agents that a woman was to collect $200,000 from him for an investment opportunity but there was no such opportunity.  Undercover state troopers met the woman, a resident of the State of California, for the exchange on Monday.  She was arrested at the scene on a list of charges and is being held in the Westmoreland County Prison.
