LOGGING TRUCK OVERTURNS ON ROUTE 217

A logging truck overturned in Derry Township on Monday, blocking travel on Route 217.  WTAE-TV reports that the crash happened yesterday afternoon just south of Kingston Club Road.  A tractor trailer hauling logs flipped over, dumping its load across the opposite lane of travel.  A truck coming the other direction was involved.  At least one person was taken to the hospital.
