A Greensburg woman accused of trying to kill a child is expected to plead guilty but mentally ill at a hearing next month. The Trib reports that the attorney for 31-year-old Skye Naggy said that prosecutors will allow it as it would require her to undergo mental health treatment on top of any prison sentence. She faces 15 counts, including first-degree murder and attempted homicide in connection with a girl’s death where Naggy allegedly gave her a dose of fentanyl. They said the act occurred hours after Naggy was released from an involuntary mental health commitment, bought the drugs and drove the child to a remote wooded area near the Loyalhanna Lake.
