The recent snow storms have eaten up salt supplies for many communities, but Greensburg has just received some more salt for the roads. KDKA-TV reports that the city has 10 plow trucks to cover 55 miles of city streets and 22 miles of alleyways. After one trip through, the trucks have to go back for refilling. On January 6, the city had to use 500 tons of salt. With another snowstorm expected this weekend, the city received another 400 tons, which should help. Officials ask people to be patient this weekend as crews head out to clear the roads.
