JEANNETTE MAN FACING ADDITIONAL CHARGES

A Jeanette man charged with attacking another man with a hatchet last year is now charged with rape.  The Trib reports that additional charges were filed last week against 32-year-old Kyle Blair.  The charges stemmed from an investigation that started last February after a man said Blair raped him while he was unconscious and recorded video of the assault.  Troopers recovered the video from Bart’s Cellphone, but Blair claimed the encounter was consensual and denied raping the man.  A preliminary hearing on this case is set for January 22nd.  Bair is awaiting trial for the hatchet attack on July 7 in Hempfield.
