The former CEO of Mutual Aid EMS has issued a statement concerning his resignation. According to the Trib, Gene Komondor said he resigned over workplace-related issues, not the personal reasons as was said in a news release from the ambulance agency earlier this week. Komondor said that he didn’t want to leave the post or employees who worked there, He would not go into detail on the reasons for his resignation. Ambulance officials said Chief Financial Officer Jason Ross assumed the duties of interim CEO while the board will work on the next steps.
