NEW OWNERS PLAN TO RE-IMAGINE WESTMORELAND MALL

While the new owners of Westmoreland Mall are still unknown, the new management company has announced plans to re-imagine the property.  WTAE-TV reports Cypress Equities representatives said the property is well-suited for a major redevelopment and repositioning into a mix of uses.  One change that has happened is a new security firm is already in place, and they will address the parking lot, cleanliness, and low lighting while they gather data and community input on the redevelopment of the property.
