EXPORT OFFICIALS CONSIDER ONLINE BILLING SYSTEM

Export officials are considering implementing an online billing system to help make things easier to pay sewage bills.  The Trib reports that they are thinking about using the Muni-Link system, which can accept payments from credit cards, Google Pay, and Apple Pay along with traditional payment methods.  The system comes with a $470 monthly fee and a one-time $17,000 installation cost.  The borough wants to use the system to cut down on delinquent payments.  The issue will come up for a vote next month.
