A New Alexandria man was convicted by a Westmoreland County Jury yesterday with resisting arrest. The Trib reports that the jury convicted Denton Krapf, who was confronted by police as he was wandering through a New Kensington neighborhood on January 30th of 2023. He claimed he was walking to a hospital for mental health treatment. Krapf claimed that police used excessive force when bringing him into custody, and had filed a federal civil rights lawsuit last month to address that concern. That case remains pending.
