A North Huntingdon woman who was the head of the National Archives was fired by President Donald Trump Friday night. The Trib reports Colleen Shogan said that President Trump did not give her any reason for her dismissal. She had served as the head of the National Archives and Records Administration since May of 2023. She was the first woman to oversee the National Archives. In a statement on her LinkedIn page, she said that she did her best in her job and had no regrets over anything she did.
