FORMER HEMPFIELD HIGH SCHOOL BOYS BASKETBALL COACH RETIRING AS GUIDANCE COUNSELOR

The former Hempfield High School boys basketball coach announced he will retire from his position as guidance counselor in the district.  The Trib reports that Bill Swan’s resignation was announced at the Hempfield School Board meeting earlier this week.  Swan was on unpaid administrative leave from the coaching and guidance counselor positions since January 14th as the district investigated an allegation that school officials would not disclose.
