NEW KEN PLANNERS RECOMMENDING CARL AVENUE HOME TO BE REZONED AS COMMERCIAL

New Kensington planners have recommended that a home on Carl Avenue be changed from a residential property to a commercial one.  The Trib reports that Jack Bellone made the request for the change to the property, which sits next to two commercial properties he owns.  The final decision on the rezoning request will sit with New Kensington City Council, which will require a public hearing.  That may not take place until April.
