AUTHORITIES RECOVER TWO STOLEN GUNS

Westmoreland County authorities recovered two stolen guns while they served two protection from abuse and eviction orders in New Kensington on Wednesday.  The Trib reports that a .45 caliber Glock and 9mm Taurus along with additional ammo and a loaded extended magazine were found in the home of 18-year-old Ralph Earl Scott, Jr. of New Ken.  A woman told a Sheriff’s deputy that Scott had taken over the house, threatened her and the family with guns, and routinely carried a handgun.  Scott is in Westmoreland County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bond.  A preliminary hearing is set for February 20th.
