Drug and weapon charges filed in New Kensington against a former member of the Pagans motorcycle gang have been dismissed. The Trib reports that 44-year-old Bill Rana of Sharpsburg had charges dismissed after a preliminary hearing on Thursday. He and three others were charged in October after state, county and local police investigated what they said was a drug ring at Valley Royal Court in New Ken. District Judge Frank J. Pallone, Jr. said that Rana’s charges were dismissed due to a lack of evidence. Charges against Marc Farabaugh, Stephanie Miller and Cera Siegworth are not affected by this recent action and their cases are still proceeding.
