GOVERNOR SHAPIRO SUING TRUMP ADMINISTRATION

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro is suing the Trump Administration over the federal funding freeze.  The lawsuit claims the state is still unable to access over one-billion-dollars in federal funds, with another 900-million requiring a review before it can be sent out.  This is despite multiple orders from federal judges to release the money.  Shapiro said the federal government is breaking a contract with Pennsylvanians to provide money committed to “serious needs” including protecting public health and cutting energy costs.
