DEVELOPER SUES NORTH HUNTINGDON OFFICIALS

A developer has sued North Huntingdon Township officials over the rejection of a subdivision plan near the Altman Farms Neighborhood.  The Trib reports that Maronda Homes of Robinson said that township officials had no right to deny approval based on traffic and safety concerns, and are asking the judge to overturn the commissioner’s denial of their revised subdivision.  Company officials say the decision was arbitrary, capricious and an abuse of discretion.
