EAST VANDERGRIFT MAN SHOT

A man was shot while police were serving a warrant in East Vandegrift Friday morning.  State police and U.S. Marshals were joined by ATF officials in the raid on an apartment above the post office in the 200 block of McKinley Avenue around 7 AM.  State troopers say that shots were fired, and the suspect, identified only as a man, was hit by a bullet.  He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.   Investigation is ongoing.
