HEMPFIELD SCHOOL BOARD FORMALLY ACCEPTS RESIGNATION OF BOYS BASKETBALL COACH/GUIDANCE COUNSELOR

Hempfield School board last night formally accepted the resignation of the former Boys Basketball Coach from his position as guidance counselor.  The Trib reports that Bill Swan will retire effective June 2nd.  He was placed on administrative leave from the coaching and counseling positions on January 14th as the district investigated an allegation.  Officials and the state police have declined to say what that investigation was about.  That investigation was concluded.
