PENNDOT CLOSES SMALL BRIDGE IN ROSTRAVER

PennDOT District 12 has closed a small bridge in Rostraver earlier than expected due to safety concerns.  The Trib reports that Penndot’s bridge safety team had noticed some structural changes on the bridge that carries Route 136 over Pollock Run.  It was originally scheduled to close on April 1st for a replacement project, but closed early due to safety concerns, and is expected to remain closed through late August.  The posted detour will send traffic onto Routes 201, 51 and 136.
