HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS APPROVE MASTER PLAN FOR NEW HOUSING DEVELOPMENT

Hempfield Township Supervisors approved the master plan for a new housing development this week.  The Trib reports that Silvis Fields will have 118 single-family homes on about 60 acres, and the development will be built over three phases.  Each phase will require approval from the township supervisors, with phase one approved on Monday.  The plan’s passage is contingent upon completion of several other reviews, including the state Department of Environmental Protection.
