TENNESSEE MAN SENTENCED FOR NORTH HUNTINGDON CRIMES

A Tennessee man will serve ten years of probation and a year of house arrest for the indecent assault of three children over for years ago in North Huntingdon.  The Trib reports that 48-year-old Joseph Smith pleaded guilty to three misdemeanor counts of indecent assault connected with incidents in September of 2020 against two children, ages 9 and 10.  As part of his punishment, he must register as a convicted sex offender for the rest of his life.
