Officials in Lower Burrell will consider a proposal to allow alcohol in city parks during social events. The Trib reports that work is underway on a draft proposal that will be considered at the April meeting. The proposal would outline regulations for vendors, establish fees, require a permit, and mandate they work in accordance with police and the State Liquor Control Board. It would also require food trucks to get a yearly permit to operate in the city.
