WESTMORELAND COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO REPLACE TRANSIT AUTHORITY BOARD CHAIRMAN

Westmoreland commissioners are replacing the county’s long-serving transit authority board chairman.  Republican commissioners Sean Kertes and Doug Chew have voted to place Roy Bodnar of Hempfield into the board seat that was previously held by Frank Tosto Junior.  Tosto says he was surprised by the move and was not considering leaving the board.  Commissioner Kertes says the decision to remove Tosto happened after other board members asked for someone new.
