Megan Loughner of Hempfield, who is the global sourcing manager for Kennametal in Unity, was chosen for the annual United Way Shopping Spree, which recognizes a donor from Westmoreland County each year. Donors are chosen at random to shop for a charity of their choice, loading as many nonperishable items as possible into their cart in three minutes. Loughner raced up and down the aisles of the Charley Family Shop n Save in Greensburg yesterday, and collected more than $820 worth of groceries for the Welcome Home Shelter in Greensburg.
