RALLY PLANNED TO SUPPORT PENN STATE NEW KEN

A rally is being planned to support the Penn State New Kensington campus.  The Trib reports that New Kensington Mayor Tom Guzzo along with other appointed and elected officials will take part in the event to show the importance the branch campus has on the community.  Penn State had announced that branch campuses could close in about two years due to declining enrollment, demographic shifts and finances.  The rally will be held at 6:30 PM at New Kensington City Hall tomorrow night.
