A special election being held in Allegheny County tomorrow will likely determine control of the Pennsylvania House. Three candidates are running to take over the seat that was held Democrat state Representative Matt Gergely following his death in January. McKeesport Democrat Dan Goughnour, White Oak Republican Chuck Davis, and White Oak Libertarian Adam Kitta are each looking to represent the 35th Legislative District. Both Democrats and Republicans have had 101 members in the Pennsylvania House since Gergely’s passing.
