MONESSEN MAN CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED HOMICIDE

A Monessen man is charged with attempted homicide and other crimes for the shooting last week that injured a woman. The Trib reports that 34-year-old Jamont Minnie was charged by local police with the shooting at 1:30 PM outside the Monessen Elks Oaky Lodge on Knox Avenue..  The victim told police she saw Minnie draw the gun from his waistband. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
