LIGONIER TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS

Ligonier Township supervisors are accepting applications for someone to fill the term of D. Scott Matson, who resigned his post on March 11th.  The Trib reports that while he was near the end of his second term, Matson resigned due to other work and life obligations.  The township will accept letters of application through 5 PM on April 4th from interested township residents.  Supervisor Stephanie Verna said she hopes that there will be a vote on the appointment on April 8th.
