WESTMORELAND COUNTY JUDGE REMOVES THREE NORWIN SCHOOL BOARD CANDIDATES FROM MAY PRIMARY BALLOT

A Westmoreland County Judge removed three Norwin School Board candidates from the May Primary ballots due to technical errors on their nomination petitions.  The Trib reports that the applications for Alex Detschelt, Tammy Moreno and Randall Pedder were ruled invalid.  Detschelt, who was running for re-election, had two signatures disqualified as they were improperly acquired.  He says he will not challenge the ruling.  Moreno and Pedder were removed for failure to file financial interest statements with the school district.  They had filed them with the county.
