Some neighbors and church leaders in New Kensington are coming together to call for an end to drug use and violence in their community. Roughly 70 people gathered for a rally at Mount Cavalry Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday. There was a free cookout and live music as religious officials held prayers for people touched by addiction and gun crimes. Free children’s clothes, diapers, and Narcan were also available to those who attended.
