SOLAR FARM LAWSUIT AGAINST EAST HUNTINGDON TOWNSHIP

A solar farm ordinance in place for East Huntingdon Township now faces a court challenge from an Erie-based energy company.  The Trib reports that GreenKey Development claimed in its lawsuit that the township hastily and improperly adopted the ordinance to set specific and strict requirements for solar developments.  It’s asking a judge to determine if the ordinance was improperly adopted.
