WESTMORELAND COUNTY VOLUNTEER FAIR TO BE HELD ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON

A “volunteer fair” is set for Friday afternoon to recruit people interested in helping out at events run by Westmoreland County non-profit organizations.  The “Discover Westmoreland Volunteer Fair” is in its second year and is organized by Westmoreland Heritage.  More than 20 non-profits are expected to be at the fair to recruit volunteers.  Among the organizations expected at Friday’s fair are the Westmoreland County Arts and Heritage Festival, the Westmoreland Food Bank, the Scottdale Public Library and Heartland Hospice.  The volunteer fair takes place Friday from 3-to-6 p.m. at the Greensburg Garden and Civic Center.
