A Westmoreland County Judge on Friday rejected the plea deal of a North Huntingdon man charged with a crash in July of 2024. The Trib reports that Judge Scott Mears said that he understood the victim’s opposition to the plea deal that the prosecution negotiated for 22-year-old Nolan P. Mullen, which would have allowed him to receive electronic monitoring at home. The standard sentencing is seven to 10 months in prison. Mullen is charged in connection with a crash on July 7th of last year along Clay Pike. Kathleen Morcheid of North Huntingdon was hurt in the crash.
