MCKEESPORT MAN FACES 16 CHARGES

A McKeesport man faces 16 charges connected to the stabbing of a woman and the assault of another over the weekend in Arnold.  The Trib reports that 26-year-old Maurice Johnson is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, burglary, reckless endangerment and other crimes for the incident early Saturday morning.  Local police were called to the 1700 block of Third Avenue for a reported domestic disturbance and they found the two victims, one of whom had been stabbed.  Johnson was denied bail and faces a preliminary hearing on April 24th.
