EXPORT BOROUGH TO MAKE FINAL FLOOD CONTROL PROJECT PAYMENT NEXT MONTH

Next month, Export Borough will make the final payment on a flood control project.  The Trib reports that the project prevents water from Turtle Creek running over in a major rain storm.  The solution to the problem was to run a second creek underneath the town.  The town has experienced at least eight flooding events since the early 1900’s.
