HEMPFIELD SCHOOL BOART TO VOTE ON SCHEDULE CHANGES

Hempfield School Board will vote next week on the possibility of changing arrival and dismissal schedule.  The Trib reports that the change would put the high school and middle school students on the same schedule, having the middle school day start and end about an hour earlier.  The elementary schedule would also start and end a half-hour earlier, and high school students would start about 10 minutes later and leave 15 minutes earlier.  The move is meant to get elementary students home earlier.
