INDIANA COUNTY STANDOFF ENDS PEACEFULLY

A standoff with State police in Indiana County came to an end peacefully.  State police reported that yesterday afternoon, a man was heard firing gunshots near his home along Cedar Street before barricading himself inside.  State Police said that they eventually took 46-year-old Jeffrey Renwick into custody, charging him with reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.  Bail was rejected as he was uncooperative during his arraignment.  He is now in Indiana County Jail.
