The Monroeville Council is deciding against a proposal for a residential development off Logans Ferry Road. Last week, councilmembers voted down a plan from Primo Land Group that would have placed 95 new homes on the property that was once the Pittsburgh-Monroeville Airport. Residents in the Garden City neighborhood, which borders the site, spoke out about the construction plan, saying their streets could not handle the increase in traffic. Developer Anthony Cosgrove has asked the five council members who voted against the plan to share their reasoning in writing.
