Valley High School in New Kensington will reopen today after a broken boiler was fixed. The Trib reports that the school was closed Monday, like many other schools across the area, but was closed the extra day due to “heating issues”. Students at the high school went to a flex instruction day and repairs were made to the boiler. The boiler problems also caused a postponement of the New Kensington-Arnold School Board meeting last night, but they are looking at rescheduling the meeting.
